- Cast iron skillet

Ingredients
- 2 Cups of Cornmeal (Buy from Pymouth Grist Mill!)
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 2 Eggs
- 2 Cups of buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F
- Heat skillet on stovetop
- Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
- Mix wet ingredients in a bowl.
- Combine but don’t overmix
- Melt butter in skillet
- Add batter to skillet
- Allow to sizzle for a minute on the stovetop then put in the oven.
- Bake until the center is just done (see video)
